In Indore, Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently unveiled a new 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College's Super Specialty Hospital. He also inaugurated a newly built (G+2) block at the Government Dental College, costing approximately Rs 6 crore. The modern equipment, donated by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of their CSR initiative, will greatly enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. CM Yadav cut the ribbon of the new CT scan room and received a detailed briefing on the machine's features. The new building, constructed by the Public Works Department, will address space constraints highlighted by the Dental Council of India. Additionally, the state government is installing an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units at the dental college through the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Corporation to benefit students and outpatients. This initiative underscores the state's commitment to improving healthcare services. Furthermore, CM Yadav announced the upcoming opening of an ISBT near MR-10 in Indore, which is set to become India's largest inter-state bus terminal. This modern facility, designed like an airport, will be a prominent landmark in Indore and the state, enhancing overall infrastructure.With the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering in mind, the new 15-acre facility built at a cost of Rs 101 crore by IDA is set to greatly enhance the travel experience for passengers. The terminal is capable of accommodating up to 80,000 passengers daily and 1,440 buses round the clock. It will include 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking facility, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and various other amenities. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College and assured employees of the Sanchi Dairy Plant in Indore that there will be no job cuts, emphasizing the government's commitment to strengthening the state's dairy sector and supporting dairy cooperatives. In a separate event, he unveiled a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi in the city forest, honoring her community's sacrifice in protecting the environment. During his visit to Indore, the CM also sought blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for approximately 50,000 people.
